Book Trailer of the Week: Mystic City

Book Trailer of the WeekHello!

Whew!

It’s been a LONG time since I’ve posted a Book Trailer of the Week!

Seriously. Things have been super busy.  Life and work got in the way, but then technology issues happened too.  Blech. Well, that’s over with and the book trailers are back! WhooHoo!

Mystic City by Theo LawrenceThis week’s book trailer is for Theo Lawrence’s Mystic City.

Aria Rose, youngest scion of one of Mystic City’s two ruling rival families, finds herself betrothed to Thomas Foster, the son of her parents’ sworn enemies. The union of the two will end the generations-long political feud—and unite all those living in the Aeries, the privileged upper reaches of the city, against the banished mystics who dwell below in the Depths. But Aria doesn’t remember falling in love with Thomas; in fact, she wakes one day with huge gaps in her memory. And she can’t conceive why her parents would have agreed to unite with the Fosters in the first place. Only when Aria meets Hunter, a gorgeous rebel mystic from the Depths, does she start to have glimmers of recollection—and to understand that he holds the key to unlocking her past. The choices she makes can save or doom the city—including herself.

Doesn’t it sound like an interesting sci-fi/fantasy read?  I’m already interested reading the summary, but the trailer makes me even more intrigued!

Also, I completely think the cover for Mystic City is pretty cool. It always catches my eye when I see it online! I love the sparkly lights in the background.   If Mystic City sounds like something you’d like it was just released on October 9, so you can make your way to the store as soon as possible!

Top Ten Tuesday: October New Releases

Hello!

Welcome back to BookTasty! Every week I participate in Top Ten Tuesday which is an event hosted by The Broke and Bookish. Each week they post a theme and bloggers (like me) create our own list based on their theme.

This week’s officially list is about older books you don’t want readers to forget about, but I usually go my own way at the start of each month and post a Top Ten of new releases. So, this week let’s look at ten titles that are scheduled for release in October!
