Top Ten Tuesday: Movie Adaptations I Still Haven’t Seen

Hello!

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the wonderful people at The Broke and Bookish!

It seems that book to movie adaptations have been pretty popular recently (YAY!). And the film industry has begun to show a lot of interest in in YA, and even some MG, fiction with many movies based on YA books in the works. (YAY!!!)

Well, this isn’t just a new phenomenon and there are still quite a few book to movie adaptations that I haven’t seen yet. Usually when I read a book and a movie is made I immediately rush to see it. With that in mind, not only are the titles in this list movies I have yet to see but they’re also books I haven’t yet read (for whatever reason).

I’ve heard some of the movies on my list are “meh” although the books are good…but that’s pretty normal right? Have you seen any of these? What are your thoughts on these book to movie adaptations?

Top Ten Tuesday: Holiday Shopping Guide

Are you looking for the perfect book for your favorite reader? Well, today’s Top Ten Tuesday’s goal is to make that a little easier for you. Today I highlight ten different types of readers and provide titles that may be the perfect fit. The recommended titles are broken up into Young Adult (YA) and Middle Grades (MG) so you can get a better idea of the level of interest. Some I have read and reviewed, others I have posted as suggestions by my students; some are newer and some were published a few years ago. I really hope they help!
