Reading Queue: September

the-reading-queueHappy September!

I’ve already talked about this on the blog a little bit, but I LOVE autumn! Yes, it means school is back in session, but it also means that the weather is getting crisper and the start of college football season! Yay!

So, it’s time for the Reading Queue! This is a monthly meme, hosted by Book Tasty (hi!) and Books: A true story , where you share what books you plan to read for the month. You can hop to other blogs and see what others are reading and maybe find someone reading the same thing as you! Or you can ask for people to vote on what you should read next if you can’t decide.

The premise of Reading Queue is to provide a review of what we’ve read the previous month and create a list of what we’re planning to read in the coming month. The goal for the Reading Queue is simply to talk with other bloggers about books! It’d be really cool to know who has plans to read the same book as you during the same month. Maybe it’ll even be helpful in providing reading recommendations! Please feel free to contact me in the comments if you’d like to join and/or if you have questions!

Each month we’ve had a few more people join up with us which is pretty exciting! I was really bad at checking out other bloggers’ Reading Queues for August, but I hope to do better this month!

How I Did Last Month

With the start of school I knew that I wouldn’t get as many books in as I had hoped for but 5 out of a goal of 7 still makes me feel good!

Technically I finished this one on September 1, but I only had like 10% left to read that day, so I’m counting it as an August read.

There you have it! What tasty treats you planning to read in September? Have you read any of the titles on my Reading Queue? Which of these should I gobble up first?

If you’re interested in joining up, please do and add your Reading Queue post to the linky below! :)

Can you believe it’s already May?!

I can’t! This school year has completely flown by! There is like 21 school days left and then…SUMMER VACATION! YAY!

Yes, us teachers and librarians look forward to summer just as much (if not more) than the students do! So, as we count down the days left in the school year, let’s also take a look at the new books that May brings us.
