Reading Queue: September

The Reading QueueWell hello there!

It is already September 1st! Time is flying and I’m just beginning my second trimester! School started a few weeks ago and I’ve had very little energy leftover when I get home, so that explains why you haven’t heard from me in a while.

Although I haven’t been blogging, I have been reading and I plan on reading more! Thus, it’s time for Reading Queue (hosted by yours truly and Books A True Story)! So, let’s see how I did for August.

How I Did In August

In August, I was struggling with morning sickness, starting a new school year and a massive lack of energy! In the midst of all that, I did manage to read 6 books.

Reading Queue: August

The Reading QueueHello!

It’s time for this month’s Reading Queue! But first…

The big announcement has been out for a while but in case you hadn’t heard…

I’m pregnant!Marshmallow

Yay! It’s still early as I’m only about 9 weeks in and still kinda hard to believe! I’ve had pretty constant morning sickness that has really been more like all day sickness for the past two or three weeks. All that nausea has put me on a I don’t feel good enough to do anything other than veg in front of the TV, so I’ve been watching a lot of Gossip Girl on Netflix and not doing a lot of reading or blogging. So my Reading Queue July summary is going to be pretty slim! haha

How I Did In July

As I said, my reading was slim in July due to morning sickness.

Reading Queue: June

The Reading QueueHi guys!

It’s about that time! Summer is getting so close I can almost taste it!

In my opinion, the absolute best thing about summer is not having to get up and go to work, which leads to spending tons of time with my husband, friends, and books!

So, what is this Reading Queue?  The Reading Queue is a monthly event hosted by me and Books: A true story where we share our reading plans for each month. You can check out other participating blogs and see what others are reading and maybe find someone reading the same thing as you!  Please feel free to contact me in the comments if you’d like to join and/or if you have questions!

How I Did in May

This past month I finished six books from my May Queue, but also read six that weren’t on my original plan. That brings me to twelve books read for the month of May, which I’m pretty proud of!

My June Reading Queue

I always have high hopes for my summer vacation reading plans! Well, let me start out by saying that February was a big month in our household. We had our second snow days ever! South Carolina had a huge snow and ice storm in early February and the school district was closed for about a week.  I love snow days because they force you to snuggle down and just relax!

What I read in February

Those snow days allowed me to read some really awesome books!

Dark Triumph by Robin LaFeversDark Triumph by Robin LaFevers (audibook)

LaFevers’ books are just amazingly engrossing. I cannot put them down.

United we Spy by Ally CarterUnited We Spy (Gallagher Girls #6) by Ally Carter (print)

The Diviners by Libba BrayThe Diviners by Libba Bray (audiobook)

I listened to almost half of this audiobook in one day (thank you snow days) because it was THAT good. I had a hard time going back to work because it meant I couldn’t listen to this one all day!

My March Reading Queue

So I have high hopes for myself this month! There are a ton of books I want to read/listen to, so I figure I’ll go big or go home right!?
