Well, hello there!
It’s time again for Top Ten Tuesday (hosted by the Broke and Bookish)! This week’s theme is Young Adult or Middle Grades debuts of 2014 that I want to read the most. I really enjoy reading debuts each year because it gives me a chance to get to know some authors that might not get as much attention as others simply because they’re new to the YA/MG scene.
As usual, there are some really good-looking debuts scheduled to release this year! I’ve looked long and hard at the debut list and, of course, some (more than others) just seem like they’d be right up my alley!
Oh yeah. I chose twelve this week, not ten, because I do what I want, when I want! hahaha
Defy by Sara B. Larson (Jan. 7)
Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge (Jan 28)
A new retold fairy tale!!
Alienated by Melissa Landers (Feb. 4)

Flaunted as Downton Abbey meets The Selection!

I have scoured the 2014 Debut list for the ones that sound the most exciting to me, but it is always possible I missed some. Which debuts are you excited about this year?
