Reading Queue: October

Yes, it is actually October!

I feel like September just blew by me this time around! School is in full swing and the weather has been turning crisp and cool!

The Reading Queue is a monthly meme, hosted by Book Tasty (hi!) and Books: A true story , where you share what books you plan to read for the month. You can hop to other blogs and see what others are reading and maybe find someone reading the same thing as you! Or you can ask for people to vote on what you should read next if you can’t decide. Please feel free to contact me in the comments if you’d like to join and/or if you have questions!

Each month we’ve had a few more people join up with us which is pretty exciting! I love visiting the other blogs who participate, it’s just fun to see what everyone else is reading!

My October Reading Queue:

I have eight books on the queue this month, which is pretty presumptuous of me, but I like to keep my eyes set high! haha

How I did Last Month

I was pretty proud of myself for September since I was able to finish four out of the six planned books! And by the looks of it I apparently I went on a little bit of a fantasy binge this past month! I just love fantasy so much!

The Crown of Embers by Rae CarsonThe Crown of Embers by Rae Carson (audio)

BitterKingdomThe Bitter Kingdom by Rae Carson (audio)

The False Prince by Jennifer A Nielsen The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen (audio)

The Dream Thieves by Maggie StiefvaterThe Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater (e-galley)

Not too shabby! What tasty treats are you planning to read during the month of October? Have you read any of the titles on my Reading Queue? Which of these should I gobble up first?

If you’re interested in joining up, please do and add your Reading Queue post to the linky below! :)

  1. You’ve got awesome books on your list this month. I’ve been wanting to read Shatter Me and Fangirl so I can’t wait to see what you think of them. What did you think of The False Prince? Did I miss the review? Fantasy is the best. You can’t read too much of it. :)

  2. What a great line-up of books! I’ve been seeing Fangirl everywhere. After reading The False Prince, I think I would love to listen to the audio as well. Enjoy your reading this month!

  3. I really have to read Shatter Me & Fangirl, and I’m sure I have a copy of Chime on my iPad somewhere. Notes from an Accidental Band Geek sounds good, looking forward to seeing what you think of this.

Well done on getting four of your books from last month finished.

  4. I loved Fangirl so I’d definitely say that one first! This is What Happy Looks Like was very cute and fast. I still need to read Crown of Embers and The Bitter Kingdom. I’ve heard the audios of those are pretty good. I might get one so I can get to it sooner.

  5. I love that you do audiobooks too! In my audiobook cue I am doing The Good House by Tananarive Due. I just finished Rotters by Daniel Kraus. It is a great (scary) audiobook. Check that one out! I have Raven Boys and I might save that one for November. Great list!
