Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Books I’ve Read So Far in 2013

Hello!

Every week I participate in The Broke and Bookish’s Top Ten Tuesday. This week we’ve been given a Freebie Week to create lists based on whatever theme we’d like. So, since we’re almost six months into 2013, I thought I’d focus on my favorite books that I’ve read in 2013.

My Reading Goal for 2013 is to read 80 books. So far I’m a little behind on that goal, but I have read 22 books so far. Of those 22 books the list below are the ones that I’ve enjoyed the most.  They all have the BookTasty stamp of approval!

Actually, I haven’t finished this one yet. I’m listening to the audiobook and am only about 40% of the way through.

So, what books are you favorite reads of 2013 so far? Have you read any on my list?

  1. You’ve read some awesome books this year! Thanks for sharing your faves. I’m quite fond of Clockwork Princess and Poison too and need to catch up on some of the others :)

    • I probably am influenced by covers…they are all really pretty! Although I didn’t like Seraphina’s or The Raven Boys’ covers when I first picked them up. :)

  2. Oh my gosh, it’s terrible but I haven’t read any of these yet, but so many are on my TBR list. Entwines Clockwork Princess, Okay for Now, A Northern Light, Etiquette and Espionage. I need to get on that :)

  3. Ooh such great books – even though I’ve only read a few of these! Poison was such a cute book and I LOVED The Raven Boys! I still need to read Etiquette and Espionage; I remember how much you raved about it!

  4. Poison looks really fun and I can’t help but want to read just because of the author’s story. It seems like a lot of your favorite books from this year feature sharp objects on the cover :) You must like a good sword fight :)

Thanks for stopping by My TTT

  5. Poison was such a cute book. It’s been a while since I read Entwined and A Northern Light, but I actually loved both. I have a weakness for fairy tale re-tellings, and Jennifer Donnelly is an amazing historical fiction writer. Happy reading!

    • Yes, I absolutely loved the OFN audiobook! I think that audiobooks are a must for me when it comes to books with male main characters. Hearing the story read to me makes me get into it more than I would if I was readinging because of my strange unexplained prejudice towards male main characters. :p

  6. I have Seraphina, Etiquitte & Espionage, and Entwined to read this summer! I really want to read Poison. I’ve heard great things about it, and the story of the author is just heartbreaking!
I can’t wait to read book 2 for Raven Boys!!
    Happy reading!
