Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’d Want on a Deserted Island

Bonjour!

I’ll be in Paris in two weeks! Whoot! Whoot!

Also…today is my birthday! Wow! I’m 30…yup.  So, let me say that my only birthday wish is….

a Colin Firth birthday cake!

Who can make this happen?! Go!

It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday!  Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the wonderful people over at The Broke and Bookish. Each week they post a theme to create a list of related books.

This week the theme is Top Ten Books I’d Want on a Deserted Island.  I’m taking this theme to books I haven’t read yet but have been trying to forever! If I had these books on a deserted island with me I could actually read them without life getting in the way.

I won this one in someone’s blog contest…I can’t remember who’s it was, that’s how long I’ve been trying to read this book!

Seriously, if there is a deserted island out there (with a fully stocked cabana, fridge and lots of desserts….desserted island?!) sign me up so I can FINALLY finish these books!

Which of these books should I bump up to the top of my deserted island reading list?

  1. Happy birthday!

There are a lot of good books on your list! Palace of Stone is a fantastic sequel. I also really loved Bitterblue. I think I read the entire series in about three days.

I recently read The Iron King and was not a huge fan due to the protagonist and the writing in general, but I know a lot of people really love it. Good luck reading!

  2. I hope you get your Firthday cake. Snerk. Sorry, couldn’t resist.

I thought about doing this with my list, but one thought deterred me: what if I ended up hating the books? Or just not liking them. So I decided to play it safe and choose some favorites and only one new book.
