Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Books I’ve Read During the Lifespan of Book Tasty

Hi!

After a busy, fun, motivating and tiring Pre-Planning week, the students came back to school yesterday.  I have high expectations for this school year and am excited to see the kids and get back to work. I am not excited that I got literally no reading done this past week because of the fullness of my calendar!

So, anyway it’s time for my favorite weekly feature Top Ten Tuesday, which is hosted by the wonderful people over at The Broke and Bookish.  This week’s list theme is Top Ten Favorite Books You’ve Read During The Lifespan Of Your Blog.  I’ve read so many awesome books since starting BookTasty about a year and a half ago and it was majorly difficult to narrow it down but there are some that just really stand out as books I simply adore. So, without further ado I bring you my favorite books since starting BookTasty and no I didn’t stop at just 10! I couldn’t!

  1. I had more than 10 on my post, too! You have sooooo many good books! I adore Anna and the French Kiss. This was one of my titles that didn’t get returned last year, and I was so sad! I had got it for Christmas and never saw it again, lol.
The Gemma Doyle series is fabulous, and Uglies is one of my favorite series!
I’m in pre-student meetings all this week, and I haven’t gotten any reading done either. Too busy!

  2. It was tough to only pick ten for this list. I cheated and included a series all as one listing. I keep hearing fabulous things about Anna and the French Kiss and Divergent and Uglies. I need to get around to reading them.

  3. I have Uglies sitting on my shelf waiting to be read! The Maze Runner sounds like a great book (and series), and is definitely one I’m reading this year. Likewise with Veronica Roth’s Divergent series. I recently read the first book, and now I’m eager to read Insurgent — I gotta know what happens next!

  4. I cannot stop reading Divergent. I specifically came to see what you said about it after I stayed up far too late last night reading. I can’t wait to check out the next one. Have a great school year!

    • Ahhhh! It is such an awesome read, I’m
very glad you’re enjoying it! Insurgent is also great. School is good, but incredibly busy since they’ve made me textbook manager in addition to all my other Media Specialist hats! :) you?
