Book Trailer of the Week: Across the Universe

Book Trailer of the WeekHappy Friday!

This is my last free no responsibilities Friday of the summer.  Oh summer, how I shall miss you!Across the Universe by Beth Revis

Every Friday I post my Book Trailer of the Week Feature where I highlight a book trailer that has caught my attention.  This week’s trailer is for Beth Revis’ Across the Universe.

Seventeen-year-old Amy joins her parents as frozen cargo aboard the vast spaceship Godspeed and expects to awaken on a new planet, three hundred years in the future. Never could she have known that her frozen slumber would come to an end fifty years too soon and that she would be thrust into the brave new world of a spaceship that lives by its own rules.

Amy quickly realizes that her awakening was no mere computer malfunction. Someone-one of the few thousand inhabitants of the spaceship-tried to kill her. And if Amy doesn’t do something soon, her parents will be next.

Now Amy must race to unlock Godspeed’s hidden secrets. But out of her list of murder suspects, there’s only one who matters: Elder, the future leader of the ship and the love she could never have seen coming.

I actually recently finished listening to the audiobook for Across the Universe but had never seen the book trailer.  I was incredibly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book! I don’t know why, but I never expect to love sci-fi and then I totally do! Well, obviously you can tell I loved Across the Universe and I can’t wait to grab the audiobook of book number two, A Million Suns.

So, without further ado, check out this book trailer!

  1. I’m really happy to hear that you enjoyed this! I bought a copy on sale but then read some negative reviews and like you, I’m not really a sci-fi fan but recently read a couple that I loved, like Glow, and now I’m keen to read this.

The trailer is just as pretty as the cover, too!
