Waiting on Wednesday: Finale

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly book blogger meme focused on sharing titles that we’re eagerly waiting for and is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.   This week I’ve decided that my Waiting on Wednesday title is Finale (Hush, Hush #4) by Becca Fitzpatrick!

Finale by Becca FitzpatrickNora is more certain than ever that she is in love with Patch. Fallen angel or no, he is the one for her. Her heritage and destiny may mean that they will always be enemies, but there is no turning her back on him. But now they face their biggest challenge. Can their love survive a seemingly insurmountable divide. And in the end, will there be enough trust left to rebuild what has been broken? The lines are drawn – but which sides are they on?

I’ve read the first two books in this series, Hush, Hush and Crescendo, but haven’t  yet had a chance to pick up the third book, Silence. These are kind of guilty pleasure reads for me, as they’re your basic supernatural teen fiction with fallen angels (and nephilim!!). But I love the characters and am so caught up in the story that I can’t wait to see what happens next!

I do have a little bit of a wait since Finale is scheduled for release by Simon & Schuster Books For Young Readers on October 23, 2012. That gives me plenty of time to finish book number three before number four comes out!

What books are you eagerly anticipating today?

  1. I have Hush, Hush sitting on my bookshelf… where it’s been for months… and I keep meaning to read it. Although I love getting into new series, I’m kind of glad that this one is almost over… My biggest complaint about new series is that if I love the first book (or two) I have to wait SO LONG for the next one to come out! With this one, if I time it right, I can read all four books back to back! :)
